Introduction

We are excited to host the 2nd Annual Southeast Regional Coalition for University-Assisted Community Schools Symposium (SRCUACS), taking place in Raleigh, NC on April 7, 2026, and in Durham, NC on April 8, 2026. This free, in-person convening focuses on strengthening university-assisted community schools (UACS) partnerships in collaboration with the North Carolina Community Schools Coalition. The symposium will bring together faculty, staff, students, and K–12 partners to share promising practices, engage with student-led research, and build ethical, community-centered school collaborations across North Carolina.
